Hunting tincture
Not to freeze and not get sick is the task of any hunter who sits in ambush. However, horseradish juniper liqueur is a wonderful drink not only for hunters, but also for all lovers of liqueurs with an interesting taste. Yes, and do not forget to salt it.
Ingredients
- 100 g fresh horseradish root
- 30 g juniper berries (dried)
- 2 g black peppercorns
- 50 g dill seeds
- 1 tsp salts
- 1 liter of vodka
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the horseradish and cut into thin slices. Let it dry on a plate for a couple of hours, uncovered, to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Put in a jar, add all the spices and berries. Pour in a glass of vodka and mix well.
Step 3
Top up the rest of the vodka, close the jar tightly with a removable lid and leave in a dark, cool place (in a closet or cellar) for a week. Shake the jar every day or open and mix the contents.
Step 4
Strain the tincture first through a fine sieve, then through two or three layers of gauze or a coffee filter, so that it is completely transparent.
Step 5
Pour the tincture into a bottle, cork it and let it rest for 3-4 days.
