Papaya cocktail Miami Spice
Ingredients
- 1 ripe papaya approximately 1 kg
- 1 bottle of spiced dark rum
- 1 liter orange juice
- sugar, orange juice and zest for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Combine the sugar with the zest. Dip each glass in orange juice, then sugar. Refrigerate.
Step 2
Peel the papaya, cut in half and remove the seeds with a sharp spoon. Cut the pulp into pieces and place in a blender.
Step 3
Pour in orange juice and add 2 handfuls of ice. Whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a large pre-chilled pitcher, add another handful of ice and pour in the rum. Toss with a long spoon and serve with prepared glasses.
