Apple and pear strudel
Strudel is an Austrian puff pastry pie with a variety of fillings. Strudel can be prepared with berries, fruits, minced meat, cottage cheese and potatoes. In this recipe, we will talk about strudel with apple filling. You can add nuts, dried fruits, honey, raisins, zest to the apple filling, thereby getting a new taste every time.
Ingredients
- puff yeast-free dough 500 g
- apples 3 pcs.
- pears 3 pcs.
- starch 3 tbsp
- sugar 6 tablespoons
- ground cinnamon 1 tsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash apples and pears beforehand, peel (optional) and cut into cubes. Add sugar, cinnamon and starch to a bowl with chopped apples and pears.
Step 2
Roll out the puff pastry as thin as possible, trying to maintain its integrity. Put the apple and pear filling on the rolled dough. Collapse the roll.
Step 3
Put baking paper on a baking sheet, transfer to the paper roll.
Step 4
Bake at 180 degrees until browning for 30-40 minutes. Before serving, cut strudel into portions and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
