Chicken roll with prunes in the oven
Chicken roll with prunes is an obligatory attribute of a festive feast. Such a roll is prepared only from chicken breast, that is, from white meat, which is well flavored with spices and herbs.
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken fillet (breast)
- 100 g pitted prunes
- 1 egg
- a pinch of nutmeg
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Soak prunes in hot water.
Step 2
Make a longitudinal cut on the chicken breasts (but do not cut them all the way), open them like a book and beat them between two sheets of cling film.
Step 3
Salt the meat, sprinkle with nutmeg.
Step 4
Dry the prunes and place in the center of the broken layer of meat. Roll the meat into a roll. Shake the egg and brush the chicken rolls with it on all sides. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place a baking sheet with rolls there. Bake the rolls for 30-40 minutes.
