Christmas ginger tree

Every year my daughter and I make just such a ginger tree for the New Year. It is very simple to make it, and the beauty is incredible. It's also a great gift!

Ingredients
  • butter 115 g
  • sugar 65 g
  • honey 155 g
  • chicken eggs 1 pc.
  • soda 0.5 tsp
  • ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp
  • ground ginger 1 tsp
  • ground black pepper 1 pinch (s)
  • ground nutmeg 0.5 tsp
  • flour 375 g

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Add the egg and beat well again.

Pour in honey, add all the spices and soda. Stir until smooth.

Pour in the sifted flour in portions. We knead the dough. I made the dough in a mixer, but you can also knead this dough by hand. The dough is very pleasant, does not stick to your hands.

We form a ball from the dough, wrap it in foil and leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

To prepare a Christmas tree, I use this set of cuttings.

Preheat the oven to 180 °. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-4 mm. Cut out the elements of the Christmas tree with felling.

And also the details that are placed between the "stars".

We transfer them to baking paper.

And we bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees.

Then the real creativity begins! We arm ourselves with glaze, sprinkles, pencils and decorate the elements of the Christmas tree as we like.

We collect the Christmas tree, gluing together all the elements of the Christmas tree.
