Ingredients
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 500 g flour
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups of berry jam

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Mash the yeast with 2-3 tbsp. l. warm milk and 1 tbsp. l. flour and leave for 15 minutes, until they rise with a hat. Melt the butter. Pour the remaining warm milk into a bowl, add eggs, sugar, salt and yeast. Pour the mixture into a bowl of sifted flour and knead the dough. Then add the melted butter and knead the dough until smooth and no longer sticking to your hands. Tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Step 2
Pound the dough that has come up, knead a little and put it back in a warm place to rise.
Step 3
Roll out the finished dough into a layer 60x30 cm and brush with berry jam, stepping back 1 cm from the edge. Roll the dough into a tight roll. Cut the roll in half lengthwise.
Step 4
Weave the resulting halves, holding them with the slices up, and connect in a ring. Spread the crunch on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 190 ° C for 25 minutes.
