Eggs more Spanish
A hearty, aromatic and very tasty dish, which contains all your favorite Spanish products - real folk food. Eggs prepared in this way can be found in Spanish bars, where they are served as tapas - a small snack for wine.
Ingredients
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 4 medium potatoes
- 150g boiled or canned white beans
- 1/2 cup fresh frozen green peas
- 1 large tomato
- 1 small onion
- 50 g each chorizo, dry-cured sausage and smoked ham
- 60 g almonds
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- olive oil
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
1. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Put the tomato in a bowl, cover with boiling water for 2 minutes, then pour over with cold water and peel. Remove the seeds and cut the pulp into medium cubes. Peel and cut the potatoes into 4-6 pieces.

2. Cut the sausage and ham into cubes.

3. Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan, add the onions, tomatoes and meat products and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, until the onions are tender. Pour in 350-400 ml of water and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and beans and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add green peas and marjoram and cook for another 5 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

4. While vegetables are cooking, fry the almonds in a dry skillet, 3 minutes. Transfer the nuts to a blender and chop. Pour in 2-3 tbsp. l. skillet and stir to make a smooth paste.
Step 5
5. Add the nut butter to the vegetable skillet. Season with salt, pepper and stir.
Step 6
6. Cut eggs into halves and add to hot sauce. Warm up together for 2-3 minutes. and serve immediately.
