Hot smoked muksun pate with cranberries on bread
Ingredients
  • 250 g hot smoked muksun fillet
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 50 g fat sour cream
  • leaves of 1 sprig of dill
  • 0.5-1 lime
  • 100 g cranberries
  • powdered sugar
  • 50g sushi ginger slices
  • 5 slices of wheat toast bread
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
For the pate, remove all the bones from the fish. Grind muksun together with cheese and sour cream until smooth in a blender (pulse mode). Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
To prepare the cranberries, heat them in a saucepan over medium heat, along with a few tbsp. l. water and a pinch of powdered sugar, 6-8 min. The berries should soften and begin to burst. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Step 3
Cut off the crusts from the bread and quickly fry in a dry frying pan, 30 seconds on each side. Cut into 2-3 pieces and dry again until light golden brown. Place the cranberries on a sieve. No juice needed.
Step 4
Put the pate on half of the toast, on it - ginger, cut into thin and short strips. Top - cranberries. Serve immediately.
