Sandwiches in pita bread with pork and yoghurt sauce

For such sandwiches, you can prepare a quick smoothie soup made from kefir (yogurt, drinking yogurt), herbs and cucumbers in a blender.

Ingredients
  • 4 pitas
  • 300 g baked pork shoulder
  • half a head of young cabbage
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 1 medium bunch of cilantro (parsley)
  • half a lemon
  • fresh sprouts
  • salt
  • 2 cups (250 g) natural Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 4-5 stalks of green onions
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
For the sauce, finely chop the green onion, put in a mortar, salt and pepper, grind into a gruel. Mix with the rest of the sauce and let it brew a little.
Step 2
For the salad, grate the cucumbers, chop the cabbage thinly and mix with the cucumbers with your hands, salt. Place in a colander and let the excess liquid drain, 15–20 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the pitas in half and straighten them out so they can be stuffed. Preheat in an oven or toaster. Heat the meat in the oven or in the microwave, fill them with pits.
Step 4
Top with cabbage salad with cucumbers, pour over with yogurt sauce, sprinkle with sprouts.
