Kıymalı Kabak Sandal - zucchini boats with minced meat
Appetizing zucchini boats with juicy minced meat and delicate creamy béchamel sauce - a dish that enjoys great success in Turkey. Cooking is quick and easy.
Ingredients
- zucchini 2 pcs.
- Parmesan cheese 50 g
- minced beef or lamb 200 g
- tomatoes 3 pcs.
- hot pepper 1 pc.
- onion 2 pcs.
- clove of garlic 1 pc.
- cumin, thyme 1 tsp.
- salt 1 pinch (s)
- freshly ground pepper mixture 1 pinch (s)
- basil, mint 1 bunch (s)
- olive oil 4 tablespoons
- butter 50 g
- flour 50 g
- milk 500 ml
- parsley greens 1 bunch (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare the Bechamel sauce: melt the butter in a frying pan, pour the flour and grind into a gruel until the butter rises with a hat and foam appears around.
Step 2
This is the consistency. We remove the mass from the heat and cool completely.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion to the milk, a mixture of freshly ground pepper, bring to a boil, turn it off and let it brew a little under the lid.
Step 4
We filter the milk through a strainer and add in small portions (first 150 ml) to the cooled mixture of butter and flour, put on low heat, stir until smooth and gradually add the remaining milk. Cook, stirring continuously until boiling, and then another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer the Bechamel sauce to a clean cup, cover with cling film so that the film lies on the sauce and set aside.
Step 6
Let's prepare the meat filling: heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the onion until transparent, add hot pepper plates.
Step 7
Add grated tomato and minced meat to the pan, mix and cook under the lid for 7-10 minutes until half cooked. Salt and pepper to taste, add spices, mix.
Step 8
Add finely chopped parsley, garlic, basil, mint, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 9
Prepare the tomato sauce: heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the tomatoes peeled and cut into small pieces, add finely chopped parsley, stir and fry for 5-7 minutes until tender.
Step 10
Wash the zucchini, cut off the tails, carefully take out the middle, put it in a saucepan with boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes. Then we take out and cool.
Step 11
Put the tomato sauce on the bottom of the baking dish, put the zucchini on top of the sauce, fill them with minced meat.
Step 12
Put the Bechamel sauce on top of the minced meat.
Step 13
Sprinkle the zucchini on top with cheese grated on a coarse grater. We bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 180 * C for 20 minutes.
Step 14
Serve hot, garnished with sprigs of fresh basil and parsley. Enjoy your meal!!!
