Lamb shoulder baked with garlic and thyme
The perfect dish for a small family party - it's easy to do and the result is absolutely delicious. You can bake potatoes or peppers for a side dish.
Ingredients
- 4-5 cloves of garlic
- 4-5 sprigs of thyme
- 1 shoulder of lamb, approximately 1.5 kg
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 2 tbsp. l. extra virgin olive oil
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Peel the garlic, cut it lengthwise into thin slices. Separate the thyme leaves from the twigs.
Step 2
Rub the lamb with salt and pepper, brush with olive oil and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. With a sharp small knife, make small cuts in the meat - 2 cm deep, in total there should be as many as pieces of garlic.

Place a chunk of garlic and a few thyme leaves in each cut. Place the baking sheet of meat in the oven
