Mackerel in tea marinade
What can be common between mackerel and tea? Marinade. The tea marinade is very easy and quick to prepare. But to try the fish marinated in this way, you have to be patient for 4 days.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. black tea infuser
- 1 liter of water
- 3 tbsp. tablespoons of salt
- 3 st. spoons of sugar
- 2 large, fatty mackerels
- croutons, green salad, boiled or fried potatoes for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Brew tea in 1 liter of boiling water. Add salt, sugar, stir and cool. Then strain through cheesecloth.
Step 2
Pour the marinade over a whole headless gutted fish so that the fish is completely covered and refrigerate for 4 days.
Step 3
Drain the marinade, put the fish in a colander, rinse from the tea and let it dry completely. Serve on croutons, with green salad and boiled or fried potatoes.
