Protein omelet with cheese and spicy herbs
- 3-4 sprigs of basil
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- 1 small bunch of parsley
- 50 g butter
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 5 proteins from large eggs
- 50 g of grated hard cheese
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Remove the stems from the basil and thyme. Chop all the greens finely. Melt the olive and butter in a large, non-stick, heavy-bottomed skillet. Add the herbs and simmer over low heat for 1 minute.
Whisk the whites with 0.2 tsp. salt. Add the grated cheese and stir. Pour the protein mass into the frying pan with herbs.
When the mass starts to set from the bottom, move it to the side so that the liquid part pours into the pan, and so on, until the whole omelet is set.
Reduce heat to low and cover omelette for 30 seconds. Serve immediately on preheated bowls.
