Solyanka in the Black Sea style

Pay attention - neither cabbage nor potatoes are included in the Black Sea hodgepodge. But at least three types of meat are required in it. As a result, the hodgepodge turns into a kind of thick meat stew, which can easily replace a whole meal for a very hungry man.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 pickled cucumbers
  • 12 large capers
  • 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste
  • a pinch of ground coriander and hops-suneli
  • 1 tsp adjika with tomatoes
  • 150 g turkey or chicken ham
  • 150 g boiled turkey fillet
  • 150 g smoked beef heart or any other smoked meats
  • 150 g boiled beef
  • salt
  • spicy herbs, homemade bread, sour cream and lemon for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Cut the onion, garlic, pickled cucumber and capers into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or cauldron and fry the onion and garlic until transparent.
Step 2
Transfer the onion and garlic to a bowl and quickly sauté the tomato paste in a saucepan. Add onion, garlic, capers, pickled cucumber. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Add coriander, adjika and hop-suneli, mix.
Step 3
Cut all meat ingredients into thin strips or small cubes and fry separately in vegetable oil, 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add meat to a saucepan for sautéing, pour in 1.2 liters of cold drinking water, bring to a boil, salt and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Pour into bowls, sprinkle with chopped herbs, season with sour cream and serve with sliced lemon and bread.
