Spirals with zucchini, carrots and squid
Ideal for dinner - affordable products, quick preparation, inexpensive. All this is combined in our "Squid Spirals".
Ingredients
- 320 g fusilli (spiral)
- 2 medium squid
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 small zucchini
- 1 clove of garlic
- 5 sprigs of parsley and marjoram
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the carrots, cut them lengthwise into 5mm thick plates and then into thin strips. Cut the zucchini into the same strips.
Step 2
Peel the squid, remove the insides. Cut into thin strips.
Step 3
Boil water in a saucepan, add carrots and cook for 5 minutes. Add zucchini and cook for 3 more minutes. Discard vegetables in a colander and let the water drain completely. Sprinkle the vegetables with lemon juice.
Step 4
Put on the fire water for the paste, salt. Boil the spirals according to the instructions on the package. Throw in a colander.
Step 5
While the spaghetti is boiling, crush the garlic with a knife and peel. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add garlic and fry until aromatic, 30 sec. Remove the garlic from the pan, add the squid and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place vegetables in a skillet and cook for 2 more minutes, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Transfer the spirals to the pan, stir. If necessary, add a couple of tablespoons of the pasta water. Heat the paste for 1 min. and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs. Serve immediately with a little olive oil.
