"Temptation" salad

New Year's salads are popular with almost all people: after all, this celebration usually stretches for a long time, and it is these dishes that can last for a rather long time, while not losing their amazing taste. New Year's salads amaze with their amazing variety every time. Many housewives sometimes even make such dishes the main ones on their festive table. From generation to generation, recipes for New Year's salads are very often passed on, but the most important for such dishes is, perhaps, their bright design, with which the hostesses are trying to please their pets ... This salad is very fond of us and we have been preparing it for many years! He rightfully takes his place on the New Year's table along with the classic Olivier and herring under a fur coat!

"Temptation" salad
Ingredients
  • squid 600-700 g
  • mushrooms (oyster mushrooms) 500 g
  • boiled pork 300 g
  • Korean carrots 200 g
  • fresh cucumbers 3 pcs.
  • canned corn (can) 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise "Maheev"
  • Russian mustard "Maheev" 3 tsp
  • toast bread

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
First, let's prepare portioned baskets. Toast bread works very well for this. Trim off the crust on all sides. Cut the toast into two equal pieces.
Step 2
Roll out both halves with a rolling pin. Moisten the edge of one of the halves with water and "glue" both parts in length, pressing along the seam. The basket can be left in this form, or you can cut out small figures using molds.
Step 3
Then wet the other edge of the basket and glue in the form of a cup.
Step 4
Boil the mushrooms (I have oyster mushrooms, as it seems to me they are most suitable for this salad) in salted water. Cut into strips and fry in butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Rinse squids thoroughly, peel and boil for 7-8 minutes in salted water. Then, after cleaning from the film, chop into strips.
Step 6
Pork pork (or beef tongue) also cut into strips.
Step 7
Grate fresh cucumbers for Korean carrots.
Step 8
In a bowl, combine all ingredients, adding Korean carrots and canned corn. Season with mayonnaise. I added mustard for a savory taste. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 9
A delicious and satisfying salad is ready! It can be served traditionally in a vase, or it can be served in portions, in bread cups, which will be pleasant to crunch with a salad.
