Lentil salad with squid
If you want, you can add some smoked fish to this salad instead of or with the squid. For example, pink salmon or hot smoked catfish. And just don't use eggs for the lean option.
Ingredients
- 200 g brown lentils
- 200 g green beans
- 1 can (350 g) squid
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Abkhazian adjika
- a few sprigs of parsley
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Soak lentils for 1–2 hours, then cook in fresh cold water until soft.
Step 2
Throw the squid in a colander and cut into thin slices, add mayonnaise and adjika, stir.
Step 3
Cook the beans quickly in boiling salted water until soft. Hard boil the eggs, cut into quarters. Chop the parsley.
Step 4
Combine lentils, beans and parsley, season with squid sauce, and place eggs on salad when serving.
