Thick pancakes with yeast
Everyone loves pancakes - both adults and children. When there are pancakes on the table, you don't need to cook anything else - you just need to buy sour cream, salted fish and something sweet for them.
Ingredients
- 750 ml of milk with a fat content of 3.5%
- 20 g fresh or 10 g dry yeast
- 300 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 st. l. ghee
- 1 tsp salt
- ghee for frying
- sour cream, fish and caviar and / or something sweet to serve
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For dough, pour 1 cup of warm (38–40 ° C) milk into a large bowl and dilute the yeast in it. Add 5-6 tbsp. l. flour and knead thoroughly. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Separate the whites from the yolks. Add the remaining milk (heated to 38–40 ° C), sugar, salt, yolks, melted butter and the remaining flour to the matched dough. Knead thoroughly. Cover the bowl with a towel again and leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 3
Beat the whites until fluffy, add them to the matched dough and gently stir from top to bottom.
Step 4
Bake the pancakes, pouring some dough into a well-heated and oiled skillet, over medium-high heat on both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
Place the finished thick pancakes in a large saucepan under the lid. Serve hot pancakes with sour cream, fish and caviar.
