Brie, apple and nuts salad
Ingredients
- 50 ml white wine vinegar
- 2 st. l. Teddy bear
- 1 tbsp. l mustard with seeds
- 60 ml cup of olive oil
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- 1 st. l honey
- vegetable oil
- salt to taste
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 1 red apple
- 100 g brie cheese
- 4 tbsp. l. dark raisins
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat a dry skillet over high heat, add nuts, a pinch of salt and honey. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly, until the honey thickens and completely covers the nuts. It will take about 3 minutes. Watch your cooking carefully so that the honey does not burn.
Step 2
When the nuts are ready, gently pour them onto a lined baking sheet, sprinkling with vegetable oil first. Divide the nuts together to keep them from sticking together. Cool completely.
Step 3
In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all the dressing ingredients. Shake vigorously until an emulsion is obtained. Set aside.
Step 4
Cut the apple in half, core and cut into medium cubes. Cut the brie cheese into the same slices.
Step 5
Spoon the salad into suitable slices and place in a bowl. Add apple, cheese, raisins and nuts. Pour the dressing over the salad.
