Olivier Salad Bright-Festive
In the former post-Soviet space, for sure, there is no chef who did not prepare his own, author's salad Olivier. I was no exception :-) ... Moreover, the reason is "on the nose" - New Year ... the competition is so interesting. Of course, my photo food is lame ...: - ((... but after all, the main thing in cooking is taste! Ingredients
- chicken breast (fillet) 500 g
- potatoes (medium size) 4 pcs.
- carrots (medium size) 2 pcs.
- fresh cucumbers (preferably a long greenhouse vegetable) 1 pc.
- canned peas (jar) 1 pc.
- chicken eggs 3
- green onions 2 pcs.
- pomegranate 1 pc.
- mayonnaise and sour cream - to taste
- flowers and leaves of nasturtium - 15 pcs (for salad and for decoration)
- hard cheese (like parmesan and / or cheddar type) 100 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Put all the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, mix gently.
Step 2
Season the salad with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream (ratio and quantity to taste).
Step 3
Decorate the dish with nasturtium flowers, grated cheese, cheese chips and pomegranate seeds.
