Cake "Stump"
Delicious cake with sour cream and dried fruits. The sourness of dried fruits is pleasantly combined with sweet cream. A cake for a large company.
Ingredients
- dough: wheat flour 4 cups
- sour cream 1 glass
- sugar 1 cup
- chicken egg 1 pc.
- soda 0.5 tsp
- filling: 250 g dry
- prunes 250 g
- raisins 250 g
- cream: fat sour cream 900 g
- sugar 220 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For the filling: rinse each dried fruit separately, pour boiling water for 15 minutes, drain the water, dry it, punch with a blender.
Step 2
Remove the dough, divide into 8 pieces. Roll out each part of the dough approximately 28-30 cm long and 22-24 cm wide. Spread the filling on the rolled dough, roll up the roll, place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. I had 2 rolls with prunes, 3 with raisins and 3 with dried apricots. Leave a distance between the rolls, as they will increase during baking.
Step 3
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Cut the cooled rolls into pieces of 2-3 cm.
Step 4
For the cream, beat the sour cream with sugar. Place a ring on the bottom of the plate where the cake will be, pour a little cream or dip each piece of roll of the bottom layer in cream and put in a ring / mold. I had the first layer with prunes, the second with dried apricots, the third with raisins. you can put the rolls in any order, grease each layer with a lot of cream. Leave in the ring overnight. The ring is 22 cm in diameter.
Step 5
Free the finished cake from the ring, decorate according to your taste. My sides are sprinkled with chocolate chips, the top is waffle chips, the spiral is made of chocolate, meringue mushrooms.
