Chicken in nut sauce

Tender chicken in walnut sauce with spicy pepper oil. An excellent hearty snack any time of the year.

Ingredients
  • chicken 1.2 kg
  • walnuts 350 g
  • white bread 1.2 glass (s)
  • onion 1 pc.
  • garlic 5 pcs.
  • parsley 1 bunch (s)
  • black pepper 1 tsp
  • red pepper 1 tbsp
  • salt 1.5 tsp
  • olive oil 3 tablespoons

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Boil the chicken until tender with onions and black pepper. Separate from bones, remove skin and fat. Cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Soak the bread in chicken broth. Grind with a blender. Chop the walnuts, add garlic, spices, gradually pour in the broth. You should get the consistency of thin sour cream. Add salt, chopped herbs. Mix the sauce with the chicken and remove to cool.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a saucepan and add red pepper, heat for 30 seconds.
