Chicken meatballs in spicy tomato sauce
Delicate minced chicken meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce based on Maheev Chile ketchup will appeal to lovers of spicy dishes. For a side dish, you can serve boiled rice or mashed potatoes and a salad of fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- minced chicken fillet 500 g
- salt 2 pinches
- ground black pepper 1 pinch
- hops-suneli 1 pinch
- ground sweet paprika 1 pinch
- starch 2 tsp
- onion 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- Chile ketchup "Maheev" 200 g
- drinking water 150 ml
- sugar 0.5 tsp.
- vegetable oil 3 tbsp.
- flour 3 tbsp.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Add salt, pepper, paprika, suneli hops to the minced chicken. Sprinkle with starch, stir until smooth.
Step 2
Form the minced meat into meatballs about 2.5 - 3 cm in diameter. Dip the meatballs in flour.
Step 3
Pour oil into a pan, heat and fry the meatballs on it on all sides until golden brown. Place the meatballs on a plate.
Step 4
Peel the onion and garlic. Chop the onion into small cubes and finely grate the garlic.
Step 5
Pour onion and garlic into a frying pan with oil, fry for a few minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
For the sauce, chili "Maheev" ketchup should be diluted with cold boiled water.
Step 7
Add the tomato sauce to the pan with the fried onions and garlic. Add sugar and salt. Lay out the fried meatballs, stir. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 12 - 15 minutes.
Step 8
Place the meatballs with some of the sauce on a plate, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Serve with a side dish and vegetable salad.
