Chicken stuffed with bell peppers and rice
An original dish - chicken stuffed with stuffed peppers! Juicy and tender bird. From the honey-pomegranate marinade, she got a ruddy and crispy crust. And the peppers with rice stuffing are used as a garnish.
Ingredients
- chicken 1 pc.
- sweet pepper 3 pcs.
- rice (boiled) 1 cup (s)
- onion 1 pc.
- raisins 3 tbsp
- garlic 2 cloves
- salt to taste
- soy sauce 3 tbsp
- pomegranate sauce 3 tbsp
- honey 1 tbsp.
- mustard 2 tsp
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Cook the rice until half cooked. Prepare a chicken marinade from pomegranate sauce (or Narsharab), honey, mustard and soy sauce. Brush the chicken on all sides and let stand for at least 30-40 minutes.
Step 2
Fry onions, garlic and hot peppers. Finally add the washed raisins and mix the fried vegetables with the rice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Small sweet peppers (it is better to choose elongated ones), peel from seeds. Stuff the peppers with the aromatic rice filling.
Step 4
Stuff the chicken with stuffed peppers. We will tie the legs with culinary thread. Place the chicken in a baking bag. We send it to the oven for 1-1.2 hours. The time depends on the size of the chicken. The temperature in the oven is 190 ° C. Cut open the baking bag 10 minutes until tender and brown the chicken.
