Canneloni with salmon and spinach

Canneloni with salmon is ideal for a hearty lunch. This dish can be cooked on a Sunday and get together with the whole family at the dinner table, as is done in Italy.

Canneloni with salmon and spinach
Ingredients
  • 250g lasagna sheets
  • 45 g butter + for greasing the mold
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 250 g spinach
  • 30 ml fresh cream or cream with a fat content of at least 30%
  • nutmeg
  • 600 g salmon fillet, cut into 12 pieces
  • 60-80 g of parmesan
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 30 g flour
  • 400 ml of milk

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Start boiling the lasagna sheets in salted water. Cook until they begin to bend. Dip in cold water and let dry on a tea towel.
Step 2
Heat 15 g butter and sauté the onion and garlic over medium heat until soft. Add spinach and cook until tender. Mix with fresh cream (or cream), add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Step 3
Grease a baking dish with butter. Place a slice of salmon and spinach mixture on each lasagne sheet. Roll up to form canneloni and place firmly on the bottom of the mold. Put the oven to preheat to 200 ° C.
