Dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms
  • flour 200-300 g
  • kefir 300 ml
  • egg 1 pc.
  • salt 2 tsp
  • soda
  • boiled potatoes 6 pcs.
  • mushrooms 300 g
  • onion 2 pcs.
  • salt pepper


Step 1
We mix flour, kefir and egg. Add soda. And for a long time we crush the mass with force until it becomes homogeneous (salt to taste, about 2 tsp).
Step 2
For the filling: boil the potatoes. When ready, crush it with a mortar. Fry onions in a pan, mushrooms and mix with mashed potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Next, roll out the dough thinly (on a table sprinkled with flour) and sculpt the dumplings with the prepared filling. During the sculpting process, the dough should be covered with a towel so that it does not dry out.
Step 4
Put the finished dumplings carefully on a baking sheet so that they do not stick together. Then cook in boiling salted water until they float.
