Chicken with champignons
The secret of these chicken thighs with mushrooms is in the gravy, or rather, in the sauce made with cream and dry wine. An exquisite aroma of this dish will be given by a bouquet of aromatic herbs.
Ingredients
- 80 g butter
- 1 kg chicken thighs
- 1 large onion
- 12 large mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 bouquet garni
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 600-700 ml cream with fat content from 20%
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Dissolve the butter in a large skillet. Place the thighs in it, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Cut the onion into 4 pieces. Peel the champignons with a napkin, remove the rough legs, cut the caps into quarters. Place the mushrooms in the skillet.
Step 3
Crush and chop the garlic, add to the pan along with the garni bouquet. Place a skillet over high heat and sauté the chicken until the pieces are browned, about 5 minutes each. from each side.
Step 4
Pour in white wine, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, cook for 1 minute. and add cream. Close the lid and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Then take out the chicken pieces. Grind the sauce with a blender. Check if there is enough salt and pepper. Divide the chicken pieces into deep bowls and top with the sauce.
