Chocolate Vanilla Cookies
This cookie will appeal to everyone, without exception, and will reconcile chocolate lovers with vanilla lovers.
Ingredients
- 190 g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 120 g butter at room temperature
- 150 g of sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. l. cocoa powder
- 60 g of chocolate
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Step 2
Beat butter and sugar with a mixer until light cream. Add egg and vanilla extract, stir until smooth. Add flour mixture and stir quickly. Divide the dough in half.
Step 3
Cut the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a water bath, cool slightly. Pour cocoa into the chocolate and stir. Add chocolate to one piece of dough and stir quickly.
Step 4
Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment into rectangles, vanilla should be slightly longer than chocolate.
Step 5
Place the chocolate on top of the vanilla and roll the dough into a tight roll along the long side.
Step 6
Roll the roll lightly on the work surface. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Step 7
Preheat oven to 175 ° C. Cut the dough into 7–8 mm thick circles. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool the finished cookies on a baking sheet, 5 minutes, then transfer to the wire rack.
