Coffee biscotti with chocolate

"Biscotti" is translated from Italian as "twice baked". From the recipe, in principle, it is clear where this name comes from. In my recipe today, biscotti with coffee, chocolate pieces and nuts. It's a real winter treat. They are so easy to prepare that the most inexperienced housewife can handle it.

Coffee biscotti with chocolate
Ingredients
  • flour 240 g
  • brown sugar 150 g
  • eggs 2 pcs.
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • cinnamon 1 tsp
  • instant coffee 2 tbsp.
  • cashew nuts (or others) 100 g
  • good chocolate 70% 60 g

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Beat eggs with sugar, coffee and cinnamon.
Step 2
Sift flour with baking powder, combine with beaten eggs.
Step 3
Knead the dough with a spatula, stir in the chocolate and nuts.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll up 2 sausages with a diameter of 3-4 cm. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment (or a non-stick mat). Flatten a little so that the cookie ends up being oval. Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the sausages (do not turn off the oven). Cool the sausages for 5 minutes, put on a board and cut lengthwise into cookies 1-1.5 cm thick. Put them on a baking sheet again and dry in the oven for another 10 minutes. Cool, serve.
