Homemade Italian Lasagne

Italian lasagna is a great option for a family lunch or dinner! Layers of the finest dough, bright meat stew, tender Bechamel sauce - all this gives a riot of taste.

Homemade Italian Lasagne
Ingredients
  • carrots 1 pc.
  • celery stalks 2 pcs.
  • onion 1 pc.
  • Mozzarella cheese 200 g
  • wheat flour (for dough) 200 g
  • chicken eggs C1 2 pcs.
  • salt 0.5 tsp
  • tomato trade wind 500 ml
  • milk 3.2% 500 ml
  • butter 50 g
  • wheat flour (for the sauce) 2 tablespoons
  • minced pork and beef 500 g
  • dry red wine 150 ml
  • meat broth 500 ml

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Spread vegetables over low heat with small cubes - carrots, onions, celery for 15-20 minutes. Stir from time to time so they don't burn.
Step 2
Add minced meat to vegetables and pour in wine. Simmer over medium heat until the wine is completely evaporated. Then add the tomato trade wind and broth and cook the stew over low heat, covered, for 30-40 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the dough for lasagna: sift flour in a slide on the table, beat eggs and salt into the center. Knead the dough, taking away the flour from the edges: it will be soft and elastic. Form the finished dough into a ball, wrap with cling film and leave for half an hour. Then roll out the dough 5-6 mm thick into small rectangular layers.
Step 4
To prepare the Bechamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the flour in it, stirring vigorously. Pour in milk, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Step 5
Dip the layers of dough in boiling salted water and boil for literally 1 minute. Then remove them with a slotted spoon and let the water drain.
Step 6
Place some Béchamel sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place layers of dough on top (I have 3 small layers in one layer), meat stew and Béchamel sauce. Add mozzarella and cover with layers of dough. Repeat the procedure.
Step 7
Grease the last layer of dough generously with Béchamel sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Cover the lasagne with foil and place in the oven for 35 minutes at 200 C. Then remove the foil and cook for another 10-15 minutes, then serve the lasagne to the table!
