Incredible Parisian Tart-Taten
Another variation on the French flip-flop cake that the Taten sisters once baked and dropped on the floor, and it became a worldwide hit. This tart-taten turns out to be incredibly tasty due to the trick of its preparation: apples are not added to the mold all at once, but in parts. As a result, the filling has a stunningly bright taste.
Ingredients
- 1 package (500 g) ice cream with vanilla "Svitlogorye"
- 8 strong large apples
- 500 g of sugar
- 200 g butter
- 350 g ready-made shortcrust or puff pastry
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel and seed apples and cut into 2 cm cubes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
Step 3
Combine sugar, butter, a third of apples and place in thick-walled forms with a diameter of 10 cm. Put in the oven for 10 minutes. Then add a handful of apples to each mold every 5-7 minutes until you have used all.
Step 4
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm, cut 8 circles from it with a diameter of 10 cm. Place the circles in each mold on top of the apples and place in the oven for another 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from the oven, cool completely, turn the molds over onto the plates and remove the tart-tatenins.
Step 6
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
