Koftesi baked with couscous
Couscous can be replaced with bulgur, adjust the sharpness of koftesi to your taste.
Ingredients
- minced lamb 500 g
- couscous 1 glass (s)
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- dried paprika 1 tsp
- olive oil 2 tablespoons
- salt
- cumin ground 1 tsp.
- garlic 2 pcs.
- ground red pepper 1/4 tsp
- ground black pepper 1/4 tsp
- onion 1 pc.
- bread crumbs 4 tbsp
- large bell pepper (red) 1 pc.
- water 1.5 glass (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Season the minced meat with salt, spices, add bread crumbs, crushed garlic, finely chopped onion and knead. Form small meatballs with wet hands.
Step 2
Put in a saucepan with hot oil and brown quickly on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon.
Step 3
Cut pepper into strips, sauté in the same oil.
