Kumpir - Turkish foil-wrapped potatoes
Stuffed baked potato kumpir is loved in Turkey for its simplicity and incredible taste. Delicate, aromatic creamy filling in aromatic potatoes will not leave anyone indifferent.
Ingredients
- potatoes 5 pcs.
- butter 50 g
- parmesan 50 g
- salt 1 pinch (s)
- freshly ground pepper mixture 1 pinch (s)
- basil 1 pinch (s)
- oregano 1 pinch (s)
- rosemary 1 pinch (s)
- thyme 1 pinch (s)
- olive oil 4 tablespoons
- onion 1 pc.
- champignons 300 g
- parsley, dill, basil 1 bunch (s)
- tomato 1 pc.
- clove of garlic 1 pc.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
We wash large potato tubers, rub salt on all sides.
Step 2
We wrap each potato in foil.
Step 3
We put all the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 * C for 1 hour.
Step 4
For the filling, heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the onion until transparent, add the chopped mushrooms, pepper and salt to taste, add spices, garlic, mix and cook under the lid for 5-7 minutes until tender.
Step 5
We cut the finished potatoes lengthwise, without cutting to the end, lightly salt and pepper, gently knead the mashed potatoes with a fork, try not to damage the walls. Add a piece of butter and parmesan grated on a medium grater.
Step 6
Add mushroom filling, tomato slices, and finely chopped greens to the potatoes.
Step 7
Serve the aromatic potatoes immediately. Enjoy your meal!!!
