Cheese baked with mustard, served with potatoes and spinach
Ingredients
  • 1 kg of fish cheese
  • grain mustard not too hot for the marinade
  • 1 kg medium-sized potatoes for frying
  • vegetable oil
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper
  • 250 g spinach
  • 1 onion
  • lemon for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Defrost the cheese on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Peel off the scales. Slit the abdomen and remove the entrails. Rinse each fish quickly and dry with a paper towel. Use a sharp knife to make several diagonal cuts on both sides of the fish. It is not necessary to cut through the flesh to the end. Brush each fish with mustard. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes, cut them in half lengthwise. Cut each half in half lengthwise. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil and stir with your hands. Salt.
Step 3
Try bread crumbs. If they're not too salty, combine the salt and freshly ground black pepper with the breadcrumbs. If salted, add pepper only. Breaded fish, shake off leftovers.
Step 4
Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Spread the potatoes a short distance apart. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C, 15-20 minutes. The potatoes should turn golden. Carefully remove the baking sheet, turn the potatoes over and place the fish on top of them. Bake for another 4-5 minutes. Remove the tray again, turn the fish over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Or until potatoes and fish are fully cooked.
Step 5
At the same time, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the spinach in it, 1-2 minutes.
Step 6
Take out the baking sheet. Arrange the fish in bowls with potatoes and spinach next to it. Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and serve.
