Marble cake

Marble muffins are especially popular with children. Firstly, this cake is one of the easiest to prepare; children 10-12 years old can easily cope with it on their own. Secondly, when you cut the marble cake, there is always a surprise inside - the dough is distributed differently, and it is impossible to get two identical patterns.

Ingredients
  • 180 g flour
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200 g butter
  • 220 g of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 eggs
  • 30 g of chocolate
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 h l. Teddy bear

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 160 ° C. Lightly butter a rectangular cake pan.

2. In a bowl, combine flour and salt.

3. Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until a light cream at high speed, add the vanilla extract. Then reduce the speed of the mixer and add eggs one at a time, stirring well each time, until fully combined.

4. Add flour in several steps, stirring the dough quickly.

5. Divide the dough in half between two bowls. Add cocoa to one part of the dough and stir.

6. Place the white and chocolate doughs in the mold in random order. Add a “marbled effect” by lightly stirring the dough with a knife. Smooth the surface.

7. Bake the cake until tender, about 1 hour. Check the doneness with a wooden stick. Cool the cake in the pan, then transfer to a serving platter.

8. For the icing, melt the butter and honey chocolate, stir and pour over the cake. Leave to set.
