Halloween is approaching, which means it's time to cook themed "scary" dishes for youth parties. Tender and juicy meatballs "Vampire's Eye" float in a "bloody" gravy of seasonal vegetables.

Ingredients
  • minced chicken 500 g
  • hard cheese 50 g
  • green pesto 2 tbsp
  • bread crumbs 2 tbsp
  • parsley 2 sprigs
  • olives 6 pcs.
  • chili to taste
  • salt to taste
  • olive oil 3 tablespoons
  • black pepper to taste
  • for sauce
  • tomatoes 3 pcs.
  • carrots 0.5 pcs.
  • onion 1 pc.
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • tomato paste 1.5 tbsp
  • salt
  • sugar
  • pepper
  • dry wine 0.5 glass (s)

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Cut the olives into rings and stick them in the middle of the bun. This will be the pupil.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and garlic, grate the carrots. Simmer in a pan until soft, about 15 minutes. Remove the skin from the tomatoes and cut into cubes. Add tomatoes and tomato paste to the vegetables. Simmer for another 30-40 minutes. Salt, pepper and add sugar to taste. The sauce should be thick.
Step 3
Pour the tomato sauce into an oven dish, put the meatballs on top, olive oil up. The sauce should not completely cover the meatballs.
