Onion Kebab with Pomegranate Sauce
Juicy and delicious onion kebab is another colorful Turkish dish. Pomegranate sauce gives the kebab a unique taste.
Ingredients
- onions 10 pcs.
- minced lamb 300 gr
- onion 1 pc
- mint 3 sprigs
- parsley 3 sprigs
- thyme pinch
- a pinch of red pepper
- pinch of black pepper
- pomegranate sauce 4-5 tbsp
- water 3 tbsp.
- lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
- olive oil 4 tablespoons
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare minced meat for kebabs from lamb, onions, spices. Chop the herbs finely and add to the minced meat too. Knead well. Wash small onions well. Do not peel off the husk.
Step 2
Cut off the nose and top of the bulbs. cut a segment without cutting through.
Step 3
Form balls from minced meat and place in the cut out place in the onion. Form a ball.
Step 4
In this way, cook all the onions. Put in a mold, pour with olive oil and send to the oven to bake for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.
Step 5
Prepare the sauce with narsharab, lemon juice and olive oil. Add some water and stir well.
