Potatoes, crispy bacon and squid
Ingredients
- 400 g prepared squid
- 6 slices of uncooked smoked bacon
- 400 g small potatoes
- 2 red onions
- 1 head of garlic
- leaves from 3-4 sprigs of fresh thyme
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp. l. liquid honey or maple syrup
- 30 g butter
- 5 tbsp. l. olive oil and also for dressing
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Place the bacon slices on a foil-lined baking sheet. Cover with another baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 220 ° C for 10-12 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and leave the dish until the bacon has cooled completely. This will keep the bacon flat and even.

Place the potatoes in a large bowl or platter. Add the onions from the envelope, bacon and squid. Drizzle with honey and add the dressing. Serve immediately.
