Quick grape chutney with mint and ginger (for meat and cheeses)
Ingredients
  • 1 kg of large grapes (red or white)
  • 3-4 cm of ginger root
  • 5 sprigs of mint
  • 2 tbsp. l. dark honey
  • 5 tbsp. l. wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • freshly ground pepper mixture

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Remove the grapes from the twigs and cut into 4 pieces, removing the seeds. Finely chop the ginger.
Step 2
Mix honey and vinegar in a saucepan, heat. Add ginger, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the grapes and chopped mint leaves, stir and cook over high heat for 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Mix starch with 1 tbsp. l. cold water, pour into chutney, cook for 1 min. Cool and serve.
