Tandoori steak
Ingredients
  • 700-800 g thick rim beef pulp
  • 2 cm fresh ginger root
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 4 tbsp. l. thick natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. l. tomato puree
  • 0.5 tsp. ground red hot pepper and coriander
  • 1 tsp. ground turmeric and cumin
  • salt
  • vegetable oil

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
For the marinade, grate the ginger and garlic on a fine grater, add lemon juice, spices, salt, tomato puree and yogurt.
Step 2
Cut the meat into layers 1.5 cm thick, pat dry with paper towels. Dip into the marinade, smearing on all sides. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
Step 3
Preheat oven and grill to 220 ° C. Line a baking sheet with foil, brush with oil. Shake the marinade off the meat and place on the foil at a distance from each other. Drizzle with oil and place in the oven under the grill for 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Turn over, drizzle with oil and return to grill for 2-3 minutes.
