Toast with salted herring and avocado salsa
Salsa made from avocado, herring and herbs is an excellent appetizer for any table. It can be spread over toasted toast or served as a salad.
Ingredients
- lettuce leaves 2-3 leaves pcs.
- avocado 1 pc.
- 1 clove garlic
- mayonnaise 1 tbsp.
- salted herring 50 g
- pepper
- lemon juice
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the avocado and mash with a fork. Add lemon juice, garlic through a press and a little mayonnaise.
Step 2
Cut the lettuce leaves into thin strips.
Step 3
Cut the salted herring into small cubes.
Step 4
Mix together the chopped lettuce, garlic avocado and salted herring. Season with salt, pepper and mix gently.
Step 5
Dry a slice of white bread under the grill and spread with cooked salsa. Great sandwiches are ready!
