Focaccia with seaweed
Ingredients
- wheat flour 360 g
- water (warm) 180 g
- yeast (dry) 4 g
- olive oil (+ for greasing the baking dish) 3 tbsp.
- dry seaweed 50 g
- salt (sea salt - a pinch in the dough, + for sprinkling) 1.5 tsp
- sugar 1 tsp.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Dissolve yeast with warm water, add sugar, let it swell.
Step 2
Drain the liquid from the algae. Squeeze well.
Step 3
Knead the dough from flour, warm water, yeast, vegetable oil, salt and sugar. Add seaweed, knead the dough until smooth. Cover with cling film and let rise for about 20 minutes. Knead a little more, dusting slightly with flour.
Step 4
Grease the mold with olive oil, transfer the dough to the mold.
Step 5
Give the dough the desired shape, let the dough come up for about 20 minutes, if you want a fluffy foccaccia, then leave the dough to rise for 30-40 minutes. Brush the focaccia with olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining coarse sea salt. Bake at 180 ° C for 20-30 minutes.
