Tuna steaks
Ingredients
- 1-1.5 kg tuna fillet
- 4 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. l. spice mixes (freshly ground coriander, fennel seeds and black pepper), salt
- lemon juice for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the tuna across the grain into 2 cm thick steaks. Sprinkle seasoning on all sides and season with salt. Drizzle over 3 tbsp steaks. l. olive oil and lightly rub it into the meat.
Step 2
Heat the grill pan. Spoon out a couple of steaks and press down lightly. Fry for 90 seconds. from each side. The steaks should not be completely cooked through. Fry the remaining pieces of tuna.
Step 3
Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the steaks. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice and serve.
