The recipe for this cake was translated by me from the French site Le Journal des Femmes and supplemented based on the experience of its preparation. There are many recipes for apple pies. But it was this cake that reminded me of my grandmother's apple pie from my childhood. It can be served warm or cold. The proportions of the ingredients in the recipe are designed for a round shape with a diameter of 24-28 cm.

Ingredients
  • for shortcrust pastry: yolk 1 pc.
  • flour 250 g
  • butter 150 g
  • salt with a slide 0.5 tsp
  • cold water 45 ml
  • For filling:
  • apples 3 pcs.
  • melted butter 100 g
  • brown sugar 80 g
  • eggs 3 pcs.

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Cut the butter into small cubes.

Separate the yolk from the protein. Only add the yolk to the dough.

Add cold water and knead the dough.
