Baked apples stuffed with walnuts and buckwheat
Ingredients
- 4 large apples
- 160-180 g of boiled, or better steamed buckwheat per day
- 120 g of sugar
- 30 g shelled walnuts
- honey
- ground cinnamon
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Remove the core from the apples with a vertical peeler without cutting through the apple.
Step 2
Combine buckwheat, sugar and finely chopped nuts in a bowl. Fill apples with this filling, tamping it tightly. Transfer the apples to an ovenproof dish or on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, some distance apart. Pour some honey over the filling and sprinkle with cinnamon (don't overdo it).
Step 3
Bake in the oven at 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes. The apples should be soft, but not lose their shape. Serve warm.
