Gingerbread Umka
Do-it-yourself Christmas gingerbread will be a great gift for your family and friends.
Ingredients
- sugar 100 g
- honey 50 g
- egg 1 pc.
- butter 50 g
- flour 250-300 g
- soda 1 tsp
- cocoa 2 tsp
- spices for gingerbread 1-2 tsp
- white sugar 7 g
- egg white 1 pc.
- icing sugar 200 g
- lemon juice 0.5 tsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Put honey and sugar in a saucepan over low heat and while the mixture heats up, stir constantly with a whisk or spoon. When the mixture heats up and becomes homogeneous (sugar dissolves) put soda, continue stirring (the mixture rises).
Step 2
When the mixture stops rising, add oil. The butter should be at room temperature, add cut into small pieces. Remove from heat, stir until oil is completely dispersed and the mixture becomes homogeneous. Then add spices, cocoa and vanilla sugar, mix.
Step 3
Then cool the mixture a little. Stir the egg a little and add to the mixture.
