Baked Vegetable Pasta / Ezmesi

A very simple and affordable snack, it is preferable to bake vegetables on the grill, with a smoke, but the home version is no less aromatic and tasty.

Ingredients
  • eggplant 1 pc.
  • onion 1 pc.
  • Bulgarian red pepper 3 pcs.
  • pomegranate sauce 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • garlic head 1 pc.
  • salt
  • vegetable oil
  • ground red pepper 1 pinch (s)
  • tomato sauce (optional) 1 tbsp
  • zira 1/2 tsp
  • chopped greens

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
While the vegetables are baking, chop the onion. Fry the onion until golden brown, adding at the end, if desired, tomato, pomegranate sauce and lemon juice.
Step 2
Put the peeled vegetables in a food processor, add the fried onions, season with salt and pepper, and season with cumin. You can add some chopped greens. Grind vegetables to a paste with small pieces.
Step 3
Serve as a separate dish or as a dip with meat and flat cakes.
