Quince poached in white wine
Ingredients
  • 4 large quince
  • 1 bottle of white semi-dry wine
  • 50 g of brown sugar
  • 3-4 mugs of orange
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 star anise stars
  • 2 carnation buttons

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for 45 minutes. Remove from heat and leave the quince in the broth for 12 hours (when it cools down, put it in the refrigerator).
Step 2
Then remove the quince from the broth, remove the spices and oranges, boil the broth to 1/4. Serve with meat and cereals, using the resulting syrup as a sauce.
