Langoustines with garlic, thyme and white wine
This recipe produces juicy and very aromatic langoustines! Highly recommend!
Ingredients
- langoustines 20 pcs.
- fresh thyme (twigs) 4 pcs.
- garlic (cloves) 3 pcs.
- ground black pepper 1/2 tsp
- ground red pepper 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice 2 tbsp
- butter 30 g
- olive oil 3 tablespoons
- dry white wine 125 ml
- parsley greens 1/2 bunch (s)
- salt 1 pinch (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
First, let's prepare the langoustines. Separate the head from the torso, trim the legs (optional), make a longitudinal incision along the torso, and remove the digestive tube.
Step 2
Cooking the marinade. Cut the garlic into small cubes.
Step 3
Heat olive oil and butter in a frying pan, add chopped garlic. Add fresh thyme there (peel off the leaves from the branches) and 2 types of pepper.
Step 4
As soon as the garlic and thyme give their divine aroma, pour in the wine, wait a minute or two for the alcohol to evaporate, and only the aroma remains from the wine. Add juice from 1/4 lemon and put langoustines in the marinade.
Step 5
Sprinkle with finely chopped herbs (parsley or dill) on top. We close the lid and let it simmer for literally 2-3 minutes. If left for longer, the langoustine meat will be soft, but also very tasty.
Step 6
Serve with lemon wedges and serve immediately! This is delicious! ?
