Classic potato soup with beef
Potato soup is always a dish, first of all, homemade, hearty and loved by everyone. Of course, you can also experiment with it, but if the main ingredients are of high quality - especially the potatoes tolerate cooking well, you don't need to be too smart. If you want to follow the tradition, cook potato soup with meat broth with dumplings or with cereals (barley, rice, millet or semolina). Soup with cereals can also be prepared in mushroom broth.
Ingredients
- 1 parsley and celery root
- 1 large onion
- vegetable oil
- 700 g potatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1.5 l of meat broth
- 500 g boiled beef pulp
- a handful of parsley and dill leaves
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Cut the roots and onions into strips. First fry the roots in hot oil, 2 minutes. Add the onion and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 2
Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Along with the roots, onions and bay leaves, add to the boiling salted broth. Pepper. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the meat into pieces and fry with a little vegetable oil over high heat, 2 minutes. Add to potatoes up to 2-3 minutes. until the end of cooking. Remove the bay leaf and serve hot with finely chopped dill and parsley.
